General instructions for grant-seeking organisations

Ashraya Hastha Trust is only accepting proposals that are working in:
Animal Welfare | Health | Education | Livelihoods | Disaster Relief | Environment

Who can apply?
  • Proposals are invited from non-profit institutions organisations only.
  • Proposals submitted by individuals will not be entertained.
  • The organisation must have at least 3 years of experience working in the focus areas mentioned above.
  • The organisation must be a registered entity with 12A, 80G, and other necessary certifications.
3.
What is our process of evaluation?
This EOI will be followed by an evaluation and selection process that can typically take between 3 - 6 months depending on the number of applications we receive. Shortlisted organisations will be asked to submit a detailed proposal and budget for the proposed program in the desired format. The proposal and budget evaluation, if shortlisted, will then be followed by :
  • STEP 01EOI evaluation (if not selected, the concerned organisation will be informed via email)
  • STEP 02Request for a detailed project proposal and budget
  • STEP 03Initial presentation and discussion on the proposed project with our team
  • STEP 04Inform applicants about whether their proposal has been selected to receive funding

Points to note
  • Ashraya Hastha Trust does not ask for any application fee nor does it entertain any recommendation from anyone or representations from any political parties or religious institutions. Should you face any issues, please reach out to our help desk directly: [email protected].
  • We follow a transparent selection process for selecting grantees and do not reach out to any 3rd party vendors for the selection of our grantees.
  • We have a zero tolerance approach when it comes to bribery and corruption. If any grantees are asked for any bribe (in cash/kind or anything else), please reach out to our help desk immediately: [email protected].
  • We strictly adhere to the Govt. of India's taxation laws and other guidelines. If any grantee is found guilty of financial misappropriation or fraud, they can be disqualified at any stage in the selection process.
