Ashraya Hastha Trust is committed to upholding confidentiality and privacy, it is our duty to protect the confidentiality of grant applications and proposals of our grantees. To ensure that grant applications and proposals remain confidential, we follow the following practices:

Limiting access:

Access to grant applications and proposals is limited to only authorised personnel within the organisation. We ensure that these individuals have signed non-disclosure agreements and have undergone proper training to handle confidential information.

Storing information securely:

Grant applications and proposals are stored in secure locations, such as password-protected servers or locked cabinets, to prevent unauthorised access.

Sharing information on a need-to-know basis:

We only share grant applications and proposals with individuals or organisations that have a legitimate need to know the information, such as our board members or grant reviewers.

Anonymizing information:

When necessary, we may anonymize information in grant applications and proposals to protect the identity of the grantee.

Disposing of information securely:

When grant applications and proposals are no longer needed, we ensure that they are disposed of securely and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

ALERTS AND REPORTING OF SCAMS AND FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY

Ashraya Hastha Trust is committed to ensuring the safety and security of its grantees, and partners. We understand the potential risks associated with scams and fraudulent activities that could harm our organisation’s reputation and compromise the confidentiality of our stakeholders.

We want to remind all our stakeholders that Ashraya Hastha Trust does not communicate through generic email addresses, social media sites, instant messaging services, postal mail, fax, or rogue websites. Any legitimate e-mail from Ashraya Hastha Trust will always originate from a verifiable Ashraya Hastha Trust email address (domain of ‘@ashrayahasthatrust.org’) and not from any free web-based accounts.

We do not use social media to solicit beneficiaries, approach individuals or organisations offering grant opportunities through a third-party agent, charge any administrative, membership, handling or other fees when awarding a grant, offer prizes of any kind through email, postal mail, social media, instant messaging applications, telephone, fax, or in person, request registration fees to receive any grant opportunities, solicit individuals or others for investment opportunities, or solicit donations in any way, manner or form at any time from the public.

If you receive any communication that claims to originate from Ashraya Hastha Trust but appears suspicious, please report it immediately to us by emailing [email protected]. This alerts the trust to the potential scam and allows for it to be investigated and remediated, if necessary. Please note that due to the volume of inquiries we receive, we may not be able to respond to every request.

Ashraya Hastha Trust shall assume no liability for damages caused through any unlawful or fraudulent correspondence under Ashraya Hastha Trust’s name.
