Centre for Youth and Social Development (CYSD) is an NGO working to improve the quality of lives of the tribal, rural, and urban poor in Odisha. Their primary focus is to eradicate extreme poverty and hunger, ensuring social inclusion and justice, good governance, and citizen’s rights.
How we support them
The grant from Ashraya Hastha Trust will enable CYSD to expand their reforestation and water conservation efforts in the rain-fed regions of Podagada and Mujang Gram Panchayats of Dasmantapur Block in Koraput district, Odisha. This will further improve biodiversity, resulting in better soil and water health, which will subsequently enhance livelihoods and quality of life for 1875 tribal farmers.
