Hasiru Dala is a social impact organisation that works with waste pickers and other waste workers to ensure increased financial stability and better working environments.
Their adaptive approach is centred around dignity in labour for the waste picker.
How we support them
The grant from Ashraya Hastha Trust will help in piloting an environment-friendly, zero-waste management solution. The goal is to sensitise and encourage all stakeholders to adopt 3-way segregation of waste at the source and demonstrate a successful working model for centralised management of complete waste, resulting in improved socio-economic conditions of the informal waste workers.
