Alleviate entrenched issues of marginalisation to uplift 5,000 people out of poverty
How we support them
Seven Sisters Development Assistance (SeSTA) collectivises women to form Self Help Groups (SHGs), builds their capabilities and strengthens livelihood systems, effectively empowering women and reducing vulnerabilities.
Marginalised women are at the forefront of their engagement.
How we support them
The grant from Ashraya Hastha Trust will help SeSTA develop a sustainable model where women from remote villages are engaged in intensive vegetable cultivation on a commercial scale and establish two agro-hubs that will facilitate mainstream market linkages.
